The course is fantastic! I really love the structured approach, especially in creative work, which a lot of people tend to see as a fairly spontaneous thing. For me it was a great detox, at work I do the exact opposite, working to someone else's vision and sticking strictly to references. But here I actually managed to pull out of myself what genuinely interests me, personally.
There was so much pleasant communication, lovely people, and warm comments/feedback/advice from Konstantin. Even the stickers and emojis (such a small thing, you'd think) all of it charges you up for positive work, with no feeling of frustration even when something didn't come together on a given day.
I really loved the toolkit, and I think I'll definitely keep using it going forward, and not just using it as-is, but fine-tuning it flexibly to suit myself (the toolkit allows for that, which is also incredibly important and cool). Thank you for the course! It left me with a real sense of inspiration.

10000% Love the course!!! I feel like it's a unique course that tackles something different from typical art courses online. This is the only course I saw that tackled thinking about ideas itself and not just the design part only.
It felt so freeing to allow myself to explore my ideas without thinking about whether or not it looked good. It was play with the ideas first, ask questions about it and really see where it can go, and then later you can build the design off of it. One of my favorite courses that I have ever taken, and I am already applying what I've learn to my own process. :)
Also, this course helped show me that I am capable of doing more than I thought. Never would I think I could do those 28 day challenges or similar until doing this course. I look forward to taking the course again in the future :)

Really great course! Gives you a lot, and group learning is always super useful.
Overall it's really tough, but still really great — at some point I was just counting down to the end so I could finally exhale, but that's a standard part of any marathon. Really love the stickers, reactions, and overall educational approaches throughout the course, it keeps you going.

Have you ever had that feeling, moving from an idea to a design, of a giant chasm you just can't cross? Like something's missing, some crucial link that's keeping you from bringing the idea to life, but what is that link? This course doesn't give you the right answers, but it helps you build your own bridge between a cool but raw idea and its eventual execution.
Something I think is really important to note is that the course also helps you learn to think like an author, an artist in the broad sense of the word, and that's not something you can learn from theory alone. This was definitely a really impressive and memorable experience. The course maintains a super safe-space atmosphere, and that helps enormously, working with raw, unformed ideas is really hard and can leave you feeling vulnerable, so the overall atmosphere genuinely affects how much you're able to unlock your creative potential.
On top of that, I'm just thoroughly delighted with the structure of the course: the lectures, the daily encouraging materials, how the whole process is organized, the technical prep of the materials, the engagement of the students and of the organizing/teaching team. All of it helps you focus purely on learning and on your own personal goals within the course. Speaking of the learning process itself, Konstantin’s gentle feedback and very soft guidance helps you focus on what's individually interesting to each student, while still keeping things within the shared overall direction. The practice of visual thinking leads us, by the end of the course, to the skill of elegantly organizing our own thoughts, and it makes you want to apply these principles both to creative projects, whatever they may be, and to extend them into other areas of your life.

I honestly thing this course is the thing that has helped me the most during my art journey. Konstantin is a great teacher!!!
It changed the way I see concept designers entirely, and gave me foundations, motivation and tools to build my own path.
I love the structure of the course, its way of teaching, and the clarity of Konstantin's explanations. Also appreciate the personal approach on giving feedback and answering questions, even the possibility to have a call with him!
Meeting other talented artists that like world-building and create ideas is awesome, and I felt really comfy with everybody. I will consider, if I can, to repeat the course in the future, or do other programs with Konstantin.

Such a unique and incredible experience, this course isn't like anything you've seen before. We learned and most importantly practiced, the most important tools for ideation & visual thinking.
Learning by actually doing and practicing a lot was really valuable to not just get some information and forget, no during the course we really learned how to use all the tools we were thought by using them daily and we also learned how to find our own ways. This is so valuable. I'm missing the course already, I had a great time.

A very intensive course, packed with valuable insights. There are not many courses that approach idea development in this way. It was also great to exchange ideas with an experienced artist like Konstantin.

The course is great! Not everything went smoothly for me at the start, but at some point Konstantin’s support really helped a lot. The following weeks got a lot more interesting, and much of it opened up for me from a different angle. It was really fascinating to try out the tools.
The course sorted out and systematized a lot of things in my head that had been sitting there in chaos. I learned how to package up what I'd accumulated and bring it into the realm of actual execution. To track myself and the chains of my own decisions. Every project, process, and piece of media I observed became, for me, a carrier of multidirectional information. I really loved that none of this came down to plain utility, and that it deliberately didn't hand you solutions and answers, my task for the day was to invent my own approaches. I learned to look at things more broadly, to take different paths, to see both the depth and the breadth of contexts, and Konstantin’s own personal experience, which he shared with us, showed me unexpected places to apply all this.
It expanded my experience, refined the techniques I already had, and showed me new ones. I liked that the course didn't fixate on one single area. What helped me wasn't even really the tools so much as the environment without limitations, which this course has. There was a lot going on, and this month changed me in that respect, which not many courses manage to do.

What adds even more enthusiasm to all of this is that you're not alone - you're learning with your class and watching everyone's progress on the Miro board.
On top of that, Konstantin does the same exercises alongside us, gives daily feedback to both us and himself, and shares ideas and insights to think about. So the sense of teamwork is more than real, and the whole process is organized in a very fun and engaging way.
I looked through everyone's work and listened not only to my own feedback, but also to what my classmates were told. We also had team brainstorms, which made it even more fun. People seemed to gather from all over the world, and throughout the course we supported each other.
In total, this resulted in 409 meaningful sketches. I honestly doubt I could have created that much intentional content in an entire year.

This course was an incredibly meaningful experience for me. It changed the way I think about drawing and design, shifting my focus from creating polished images to using visual thinking as a tool for exploration, problem-solving, and worldbuilding.
The daily structure encouraged consistency and experimentation, and I loved how the course emphasized connecting systems like culture, environment, history, and narrative instead of designing in isolation. The feedback was insightful and pushed my ideas further while still allowing personal creativity.

Both the format and the course itself are incredibly interesting. It was fun, scary, fascinating, and challenging all at once. On top of the visual work, I even managed to expand my story and its universe and fill it with interesting details. For a whole month I went through a new path that was unusual for me and it gave my thinking a serious upgrade.
A seriously solid course for those who already have experience but want to level up their idea generation and development. Over the course of 28 days you work on your project without references and without digital drawing. You write a lot, draw, analyze, and get feedback EVERY DAY. Gradually you start to see your internal blocks, notice where your brain lacks information, and at the same time understand what it’s capable of, how it can build an entire world.
For me this was a real challenge to myself and my inner creative. Very quickly it becomes clear how the depth of your approach to a task directly impacts the result. I especially liked that the focus here isn’t on drawing beautifully, but on truly developing an idea.
During the learning process you feel your brain “rebooting”. At first, it’s like a rusty mechanism, kind of creaking and not moving, but then it starts up and begins working so hard you can’t stop it anymore.

I’d recommend it to anyone working in creative professions – especially in an era of reusing existing ideas, developing something sincere and personal is a far more valuable way to find your audience and the people who will connect with it too, which is exactly what this course helps with.
Writer, concept artist, illustrator – it doesn't matter what specifically a person does, it's a great way to get practical tools that actually work and supervision from someone with experience who will help you start using them and get comfortable with the process of developing simple ideas into something logically grounded and woven into the structure of the world these concepts exist in.

These 28 days were like a retreat and a boot camp all at once. It wasn't an easy walk, but the effort paid off.
Psychologically, the hardest part was the start of the third week, the number of sketches had become really noticeable and it felt like I was scraping the bottom of the barrel just to hit my quota. I think that was the exact slump that was mentioned in one of the memos.
What helped me push through the barrier was shifting my focus – my goal became not to miss a single day. That week helped me make peace with my imperfect sketches, and by the end of it I got my second wind. In the fourth week, I had to make a lot of decisions. At first I was even upset that I was struggling so much, but then I realized that the creaking of my brain meant it was learning a new skill.

Before the course started I had the feeling that my head was completely empty, I was very anxious and couldn't pull myself together. And I'm glad the course had a structure of gradually easing into the rhythm, it made it possible to push past the fears and start small. Watching my classmates and Konstantin was really motivating and kept me from giving up. Little by little even the fear of making something ugly or wrong started to fade, because the feeling that I was doing something for social approval went away.
The course is amazing. Not so much as a training program, but as a bootcamp where every day you work on your ideas, push through countless seemingly impossible dead ends, and find ideas at the very moment when it feels like your creative muscle has stopped showing any signs of life. It's hard, in the middle you think the end is near.
On day 18 it feels like you've given everything you had. But then, on day 21, it turns out there's a whole untouched field of ideas ahead of you.

For the last 7-8 years I had drawn 100% of my pictures exclusively from someone else's prompt – for a challenge, on commission, for some event – not a single picture drawn from my own desire or my own head.
So the first 20 days of the course were really tough. And then it just started flowing... And some things I only understood by day 25 (and here I was at the start thinking, why does it have to be so long and with no days off)
So what's the actual payoff? The course gives you the perfect environment to try things that are new to you and pick up the approaches and tools that will make life more fun, more interesting, more meaningful. If you're drawing right now and struggling to figure out what exactly should be drawn, this course would help. And of course there's the value of learning from a very experienced and smart mentor, those kinds of artists are few and far between, you might go your whole life without meeting one like that in real life.
I think this course will be useful to any artist, and will be especially saving if you have that feeling of stagnation and hitting a wall in your development.

This course came into my life at just the right time and place, once again, shining a light on and revealing the importance of things I hadn't really thought much about before.
Going through the course together and watching others' sketches motivated me not to completely embarrass myself, while the daily feedback and weekend calls kept me from giving up, even though somewhere in the middle it was genuinely hard to push myself.
The main takeaway is that when you give an idea room to breathe and don't limit yourself to two lines of a brief, the subsequent design iterations come so much more easily. You know clearly what and where you need to look for references, and a lot of the back-and-forth that usually spills over into endless searching.
The course really encourages and nurtures that kind of thinking, and also helps you find an approach to those big, global things that look scary from a distance.

Visual Thinking turned out to be so much more for me than just a course on developing ideas. At the start of the course I couldn't even imagine that I'd be able to produce that volume of meaningful sketches in a single day.
The main thing the course taught me was not to rush straight into "making it pretty," but to first understand what exactly I want to create, why it should look the way it does, and what ideas lie at its foundation. Working with words, context, and constraints, all of that helped me see a project as a connected system. Things that used to happen intuitively now have a clear structure and concrete tools behind them. I became freer in using sketching as a tool for thinking and exploring.
I also fell in love with combining drawing and text, writing down thoughts, feedback to myself, and goals for the next day. I've kept using this approach even after the course ended. Another thing of real value was the huge amount of support for the daily work. The memo texts and audio comments helped me understand the assignments more deeply, and Konstantin’s feedback always pointed you in the right direction without ever making you feel like you'd done something badly. After his feedback you never felt like giving up, instead you felt interest and a clear sense of what to try next. To me that's a very important and rare quality in a teacher.
It was especially great that Konstantin went through the course alongside us. Classmates’ work also noticeably broadened my thinking and showed just how differently the same assignment could be approached. In the end, the course gave me new methods and confidence that I'm capable of working on my own project consistently and in depth.

Great course! Original, unlike anything else I've taken before. It's amazing that there's such a warm connection with the instructor — genuine engagement and investment. It gave me a different perspective on the design process itself, on how important the stage of capturing an idea can be, the first thoughts, associations, and the connections between them.
The course isn't just about how to get your thoughts down on paper, it's also about changing habits and approaches, about turning chaos into structure and channeling it into something conscious, about exploring and reflecting on your own concepts without fear that they'll turn out too weird, unsuitable, or unnecessary.
It also mattered a lot that Konstantin kept a friendly atmosphere in the group and warm relationships among the students throughout the process. That gave a huge boost of motivation to keep working, not fall off along the way, and support others in doing the same. And I think what mattered most to me personally was remembering that I started drawing in the first place not out of a desire to make pretty pictures, but to invent worlds, stories, fantastical cultures and meanings. Huge thanks to Konstantin and the wonderful group for this experience.

The course is great in a lot of ways. It reminded me of how we were drawn into the profession and design back in college. They showed us that you can look at things from different angles and keep discovering something new in them. It wasn't just "do it this way and no other way" approach, there was also room for play, for trying to understand yourself and your own visual language. That's what I loved about the course. From my own experience, I can say I've barely come across this format in other courses I've taken.

Great and original class it was definitely something I was looking for for a while, it was really different from what I am used to and for the best.
I almost wish there would be some kind of platform one day that I could subscribe for 1 or 2 months of visual thinking and go through exercises or update my visual thinking with the latest approaches you guys refined with this class over the years.
